Opening Day is almost here! Please arrive at your coach's requested time before the game to warm up.
Opening Day This Saturday
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our first games this Saturday, September 7 at Northwest and our sister field at North Austin Optimist (Morrow Street). We will have treats for players, including donuts in the morning and the Kona Ice Truck at NWS from 12:00 - 4:30 p.m. (shaved ice available for purchase for non-players).
We will also have some Anderson HS softball players joining us to interact with and cheer on the girls!
Game Schedules are Live in TeamSideline
The full season of game schedules have been loaded to the team sites on TeamSideline (you can also view on the Northwest Softball website). In addition to schedules, TeamSideline will be used by coaches to send communications, take attendance, and more. Please make sure to RSVP for games in the app as it is critical in your coach’s planning.

Anderson Trojans Softball Clinics on Tuesdays in September
Players 8U and up can learn skills and techniques from Anderson High School coaching staff and players and support the softball team at clinics this September.
- Sept. 10, 6 - 7:30 p.m.: 8 & 10 U's Hitting ($30)
- Sept. 17, 6 - 7:30 p.m.: 12 & 14 U's Fielding ($40)
- Sept. 24, 6 - 7:30 p.m.:8 & 10 U's Fielding ($40)

Game Time Limitations
For Pony (14U), Bronco (12U), and Mustang (10U), no new inning will begin after 70 minutes and games are limited to 75 minutes (umpire’s discretion to finish the inning).
For Pinto (8U) and Shetland (6U), no new inning will begin after 55 minutes and games are limited to 60 minutes (umpire’s discretion to finish the inning).

Help your coaches by volunteering as a scorekeeper at a game this season! Head on over to the NWS YouTube Channel for a full scorekeeping tutorial. We also suggest parents check out GameChanger. It's an app you can download and use to keep score. It provides tutorials on how to keep score and has some helpful cheat sheets.
