We will be utilizing the TeamSideline app for team communications. Coaches will use a Team Site to send communications and update schedules, and parents will use the site to RSVP for games. It’s the best way to stay informed and communicate with other team parents.

Umpire Training for 12U & 14U Girls This Saturday (2/15)
We’re excited to offer a 12U-14U umpire training this Saturday, February 15, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. on Field 6 for girls who are interested in umpiring 6U (tee-ball) and 8U (coach pitch) games this spring. Those games are typically played early on Saturday mornings before older age group games. Umpires earn $15 per game, and an NWS Board member is always on duty to assist when needed. We will email parents Saturday morning if we need to postpone due to rain. 

Rules Review for Coaches This Saturday (2/15)
One of our umpires, Evan Boaz, will be on hand this Saturday, February 15, at 10:30 a.m. on Field 6  to review common rules and issues that come up in games and answer questions. All coaches are invited to attend, but this will be especially helpful for new coaches or those transitioning to 10U. We will email coaches Saturday morning if we need to postpone due to rain.

Save the Date for Opening Day
Mark your calendars for our first games on Saturday, March 1 at Northwest and our sister field at North Austin Optimist (Morrow Street) with treats for all players! A full schedule is coming soon and will be posted in Sideline once available.
